Do All Basketball Plays Have The Same Goal? - PART 2

There was a movie that would depict some of these types of Basketball Plays and starred Gene Hackman. The movie was called “Hoosiers” and it surrounded a high school basketball team and their quest for the Indiana state championship, According to some of the plays that the coach emphasized was the minimum of passing the ball three times before shooting. This was primarily for two certain reasons. The first reason was to maintain discipline within the team and force them to work as a team. The second was to catch the defense out of position and thus, allowing the shot which typically would score the basket. During this movie, they also did drills that would entail running around old wooden chairs and shuffling side court to side court.
