We Did Not Have A Science Fair
When I was in school science was confined to the class room. Any experiments were carefully controlled by the teacher doing them in the front of the room. I was a senior before I was finally able to take a chemistry class where we got to do hands on projects. There were no science fairs and no winning science fair projects for us. It the teacher could not or would not do it in the front of the room it did not get done. I am so thrilled today to walk through the room filled with science fair projects and think about all the children doing the research on their own.
