Random thoughts from Relief Society today

The lesson today in Relief Society was on honesty. I study Mormon doctrine at church. One of the interesting points that came out of this lesson was that honesty is the building block of other virtues. Without honesty, you can’t have integrity. We also read through the ten commandaments, and beyond thou shalt not lie and thou shalt not steal, there is the thou shalt not covate thy neighbor’s things. The part that was interesting to me about that is that you can’t live an honest life if you are always wanting and thinking you should have more than you actually do.
