Havanese Fur
Perhaps the most notable feature about the beloved dog breed known as the Havanese is their infamous feathery coat. Usually white but coming in a variety of patterns and shades, their fur is largely thought to be hypoallergenic, but this is a myth as the fur does release dander. The myth comes because a Havanese’s fur – like a poodle’s - catches hair and dander internally, and needs to be regularly brushed out as opposed to just being shaken in the air. Regardless, you should test out this breed for reactions before you jump in assuming you won’t have a reaction. However, these dogs so breed very little compared to other more popular breeds and, in addition, havanese dog training is also a little easier than with other breeds. For these reasons and many others, it’s no surprise that the Havanese has become a more and more popular breed over the past few years.
