How to Decorate “French”
I recently attended a dinner party at the French Restaurant inside the Midland Hotel Manchester. The food was fantastic, and the wine was one of the best I have tasted. I took special attention to the way the restaurant was decorated, as i have been looking for a way to decorate my dining room for sometime. I loved the way they incorporated wallpaper into the design. I have never been a fan of wallpaper, but by framing it into a chic false window, it really added some depth and excitement to the room. The lighting was something I really think I can do in my dining room. I have a fairly tall ceiling, and I thought it might be nice to do some wall sconces, much like the “French”. I am not sure how to make pillars like they had, but I am sure there is a manual or something at the local library, I had so much fun spending time at this restaurant, and I can’t wait to get to work on my kitchen.
