Banner Stands: A Large Part Of Your Show Presence.

As a buyer for a national office product company, I spend a LOT of time traveling to trade shows, manufacturing plants, retail outlets, etc. etc.

My job is very rewarding. I get to interact with some of the finest people in the business and my bank of knoweledge is deposited into almost every day.

If I had to choose one aspect of my job I’d like to scale back on, it would be the manufacturer trade show circuit.

I say this because over the past few years, these events have shifted from excellent networking opportunities over to grand advertising galas full of bright lights, banner stands, flashy models, and the like.

Not that these media are bad, it just seems the personal aspect of one-on-one interaction is becoming lost.
