15 Year Old Is On Her Way to Stardom

My dad is a country music performer.  He sings around the state and sometimes out of state, but most of his gigs are local.  He has had two professionally made Cd’s recorded and has the best band anyone could ever have.  He recently picked up a few female singers to sing back up.  One of them is a 15 year old that is just an amazing singer.  She is going to make it big, as long as she follows her dream.  I was just blown away when I heard her singing, but she is a bit shy and was not very good at talking to the crowd after her last performance.  I hope she gains some confidence, because she really has a good thing going for her.

Renaissance Clothing for the Wealthy

The Renaissance was a time period and movement that mainly affected European culture. During the Renaissance, a person’s social status could be determined by their clothing. Wealthier families wore elaborate and ornate renaissance clothing that was made from expensive fabrics. The more expensive the clothing, the richer the family.

In addition to social and financial status, renaissance clothing was also a form of financial investment. If a family needed money, expensive clothing could be resold to pay off debts. Fabrics during the Renaissance era were hard to produce, which made renaissance clothing for the wealthy exclusive. Producing cotton, velvet and silk fabrics took a lot of work and were made in Egypt and other countries. Additionally ribbon, pearls and elaborate threads were used which added to the expense of renaissance clothing.

Need Some Help with Learning How to Play Blues Guitar

I belong to a small band. We started off just practicing in my friend’s basement but we got better and better with practice and have actually booked a few gigs. We would like to branch out a bit into different genres of music so that we can book more gigs. I need some help with learning how to play blues guitar. What’s so Wrong With Saving $1,500 on Lessons?

I’m sure by now you’ve heard from a lot of sources the importance of keeping your left thumb down low on the back of the guitar neck while playing chords. I’ve always been told that sometimes you have to pound the point through someone’s head before they finally get it. That is why I want to discuss this important concept again today. When you first try playing that way, chances are your left hand is going to feel very uneasy. Your first instinct will be to raise that thumb back up higher again. Do everything in your power to keep it down low. After a couple of weeks those muscles will ease up and the practice will become much more second nature. Check out online guitar lessons for further demonstration.
